ABOUT THE STUDIO
Our Mission at The DanceWorks is to instill a love of dance, while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect of the performing arts. The DanceWorks is Round Rocks first comprehensive dance center. Launched in August 1998, we’re excited to offer a wide range of dance styles – including jazz, classical ballet, hip hop, tap, lyrical, musical theater and breaking classes - for students from twos to teens.
Our aim is to foster a love of dance and a freedom of self-expression through movement, through any number of dance styles and techniques. Enjoyment is absolutely our number one priority, however all students are encouraged to develop their dance style and technique to their full potential, no matter their age or level of dance experience.
Many serious dancers who train at The DanceWorks have attained a superior level of artistry and technique, recognized by their notable success outside our studio walls. Dancers continue to be leaders in their high school dance careers as well as accepted at prestigious institutions, both for summer programs as well as college.

OUR HISTORY
The DanceWorks opened in 1998 by owner/director Michelle Bellamy-Arndt. Our Great Oaks facility has two large dance studios with marley floating floor systems. We began with one studio, continually increasing in size and eventually moved in 2006 to our larger spacious studios on the other side of the facility. LOT4 Production studios on Sam Bass Road was added in 2014. The LOT4 Production Studio is the home to our DW Competitive Dance Team, TheatreWorks, and serves as our space for our in studio performances.

Enjoy a coffee, smoothie, or freshly baked gourmet cupcake from Cafe Chelle while viewing your dancers on our flat screen televisions. No small viewing windows here! Our spacious environment make dance class enjoyable for both the parents and the students.

LOCATIONS
We currently have two state of the art locations. Our main location is in the Brushy Creek Subdivision located across the street from the Great Oaks Community Center and Great Oaks Elementary school. Our Lot4 Production Studio/Black Box Theater is located on Sam Bass Road in Round Rock.
